This year’s American Penstemon Society meeting will take place in Utah May 16 – 19. Field trips will be in Zion National Park, Old Iron Town and Beaver Dam, and Johnson Canyon.

Hummingbird-pollinated penstemons are red and have long, narrow corollas.

Pentemon eatonii – one of the species we’ll see during this year’s American Penstemon Society meeting.

Utah is the hotspot for Penstemon diversity, so this will be well worth your while to attend. You must be a member of the American Penstemon Society or the Utah Native Plant Society to participate in this meeting.

I’ve already registered for the meeting, and I’m very much looking forward to it!
